i was browsing through my past photos and out of boredom, i went to take a look at peektures taken during the china trip during june this year.
i think i didnt blog about it at all
and one thing worth blogging about (now) would be this
my grandparents :)
esp my granny
i think shesh cuter than those 5 mascots of the beijing olympics
duncha think so???!!
the tour guide was telling my mum that my granny's smile is so cute that she always felt happier whenever she saw granny smile
and yes shesh never short of poses
very spontaneous when it comes to taking pictures
on the other hand, grandpa plays along well too haha
dunno why i have the sudden urge to mention about granny
but shesh like the cutest and sweetest in the family
she takes care of myself (and my other cousins) since we were kids
theres alot of things she has done but there is a top 10 list which i've came up with.
10 things u gotta know about my granny :)
1) her birthdate is 01/01/1933. theres no record when her exact birthdate and month is. but when we celebrate her bday, it'll be a week after my grandpa
2) all her clothes are made by my mom. the cutouts, which are used to make her every piece of shirt and pants, are kept by my mom since decades ago.
3) she has 10 sofa seats in her hdb flat. i havent count the number of stools and extra chairs stacked in the storeroom.
4) she wakes up at 4am everyday and by the time shesh back from market, im not even halfway thru my sleep
5) she used to rub her saliva on our bruises and wounds. and they will heal miraculously. shesh got the saliva of a goddess i guess.
6) she has an aloe vera plant outside her house. i used to apply aloe on my eyes when i saw her doing it for mum. i shld get from her now cuz i need them for my panda eyes
7) she used to hang the cane (which is used to whack us) at the water pipe at the corner of the living room.
8) the vintage old grandpa clock, which requires the person to wound the clock, is still hanging inside her kitchen. it's still working by the way
9) she loves hokkien dramas. especially those that sing and talk (whats that kinda drama called?)
10) shesh super tiny but very strong. i used to have back problem and she rubbed for me till i screamed for help.
okay the top 10 things. there are 1000427487 other things about her.
but all in all, i still love her v much
