27th July 2007 was ryan's convocation ;)
it was also the day where ryan took the most number of pictures in his life. or rather in a year.

and ryan chng was also known as Dumbledore (or whatever it's supposed to be spelled as) by his cheeky brother, dickie. and at that moment, the whole convo scene is so HARRY POTTER. of cuz it's the gown that makes it a lil harry potter lah!

i dunno the guy speaking but he is a professor of CEE.
and you see the guy sitting on the "high chair" in the middle?
thats the dean of CEE, Pan Tso Chien.
or rather known as Peter Pan by stupid ryan's friends ;D

im so glad ryan is able to graduate within 4 years!
and he did it with a third class honours. mind you, half of his cohorde went home without any single honours so im damn proud of him *beams*
and to think that he was lagging behind a semester and finally catching up and doing so well.... now he is one step into the working force.
and soon, one year later, it'll be my turn.

haha am i a pessimist or an optimist? i dunno
cuz whenever i think of graduation, my heart sinks.
i think of bank debt, working life, 9-6pm and OT, no more school holidays, no more shopping during office hours, no more student specials, earning money to make ends meet blah blah blah and the mood goes down.

but then when i think of the challenges ahead, im kinda intrigued as well.
it's like "what am i gonna be in 10 years' time?"
and then i'll feel so inspired to do well for the fourth and last year in ntu to graduate with a BANG :) not bang bang as in DEAD. but bang bang as in HURRAY!
haha

anyway i was supposed to meet the st nicks ladies to celebrate amanda's belated birthday today. and then it is postponed to another date cuz attendance is terrible ;( sorry amanda!

so i met ryan at dohby ghaut for the simpson's movie but it was full house.

we decided to try manhattan fish market and share the seafood platter to save money as well. food court is freaking crowded as you know... tsk.. so anyway it's the first time im in manhattan fish market.

okay im damn swa ku lah..whatever
i know the damn manhattan fish mkt has been there for freaking how many yrs. dun tell me.
i kinda like the staffs there ;)
the lightings and the chairs are comfortable as well

i would give a 7.5/10 for the food.
firstly, the calamari is a little cold.
secondly, i think fried oysters are disgusting
thirdly, peri peri prawn from fish n co is definitely better
fourthly, i grew sick of the fish and chips
but the food portion is BIG and i can still smell the fish when i burp now.

so 29.90 for 2 person's share is definitely worth it
but i will go for fish n co cuz they have it at the same price?!
same portion as well and the buttered rice is definitely better over there

we came home early and i hairbanded my hair, preparing to strip the makeup.then i remember when i was in NJ, stupid yayi said that im like goddamn LUO HAN

but i checked myself in the mirror and *gasp*
omg momentarily i saw a luo han

i always love the FRESH look with the hair pinned up
it makes me look more pro
or rather, more awake?!
yeah but i just cant make myself a luo han
URGH
why cant i be born with a forehead thats not so HIGH
but at least i was born with enough hair to even out the high forehead
and i just realise my skin has been getting better and better each day
it's all because of the amount of water i drink in a day
seriously my fellow babes,
if u read mags that says "drink more water for better skin"
they are not bullshitting
