FINALLY!
im able to take a breather from my work and type this entry. hahaha
ive been super stressed up this whole time cuz of the workload, datelines to meet and also the major exams coming in 3weeks' time. it's really killing me. im stressed till i cant sleep well, dun feel like eating (also partly cuz i dun wanna feel sleepy) and ive no mood even for some online shopping. so basically, my life's been boring for past few weeks and i foresee this will go on till the end of exams.

with lab report and assignments crossed out (finally!) from my to-do list, im left with my design report which is due in 2 weeks' time. just pray that everything will work out well in the end. year 3 modules are little. but the workload is TOO MUCH. all profs act as if we are only taking one subject -- their subject. URGH!! -pulls hair out-

oh and great news ahead -->

1) moto called me! i was abit stunned cuz i was in the canteen and my phone rang. so God bless me this time round as i DID pick up my phone. i actually picked up my phone at the right time.

moto: hi may i speak to minyan pls?
me: yes i am
moto: hi this is ______ from motorola. i would like to ask if you have received any email from us regarding interview?
me: no sir, i didnt. -lifts eyebrow-
moto: alright, then did u choose any other companies besides moto?
me: no, i only choose motorola for my interviewing company
moto: alright then u havent done any interview right?
me: yes.
moto: in that case can i speak to u?
me: ok! may i know when will it be?
moto: is it okay for me to conduct an interview with you over the phone?
me: -STUNNED- errrr okay.

i panicked. cuz i was unprepared to answer any TOUGH questions if he is going to shoot me one. and the worst is if he asked me about my knowledge of their company. (eeshi i remb your bad experience) and i wondered if i will get funny questions too. so the interview over the phone went on for about 30mins. mainly asking me about my ccas (when i was in st nicks and nj) and he is pretty much interested in the fact that i did canoeing and dragonboating. hurhurrrr.. so he asked me why didnt i continue in ntu and i said because i felt different training with different team and at the same time i wanna concentrate more on my studies. so he went on to ask me if i still take part in sports now. i said yeah and i mentioned i joined the standard chartd marathon last dec. and all the cca questions are about SPORTS. he asked why i didnt join sports in st nicks?! WHAT THE ____???

and slowly the nature of the questions shifted to my academic results. and thats typical. he asked me why i chose engineering and i replied saying that MAE and EEE has the broadest field and it doesnt restrict myself to a few choices next time in life. i mentioned that MAE and EEE have subjects that are interlinked. so it was a tough choice but i made my decision to join MAE because i read up on the year 4 specialisation and some made an impact on me (eg marine engineering, aerospace engrg, biomed engrg and design).

ryan was beside me all the while trying to drop me hints as to answer the questions. of cuz i repeated the question everytime the guy asked me cuz i want ryan to help me if im stuck. hahaha.. and ryan was pretty much satisfied with what i said so PHEW!

anyway the bottomline --> i was pretty happy that i was actually given a chance for an interview. i mean i WANTED the interview all along and im glad i got it. so much for ranting about not getting the interview earlier on. hurhur.. well, now i just have to see if i will be chosen to go into moto or not. whatever the results, i cant complain already right?! haha

anyway this is the first time that someone conducted an interview thru phone. so maybe it's good that it's thru phone as i can even speak to him while i pick my nose, scratch my leg and lie down on the floor? haha of cuz i did none of that but well the thought is amusing.

2) the tee i ordered from vintage vantage has finally arrived!!! one month already leh! so anyway i just wanna get my tee ASAP so hopefully the girl will be able to process it quickkk!!

i think i should go back to my books again. i dun wanna break the study momentum.
