online shopping is killing me. haha cuz i feel like dying when i see things i just cant buyyyyyyy! and livejournal is so much more interesting than blogspot lah! cuz they have communities you can join, and sometimes these communities like sgsale/sgmarketplace allows u to sell your first/second hand goods while communities like those doing sprees allow you to buy things direct from UK at a cheaper price with only $3 international shipping. and you dun have to go thru the hassle of ordering and liaising with the person on the other hand. how wonderful!

perhaps im so into online shopping now is partly because im bored since im stuck in jurong island. staying in hall cuts u out from civilisation and im suffocating in this over-crowded fucked up school. now i go home on thursdays so i can enjoy one more day at home. and tomorrow is thursday! YEYYYY!!! -wideeeeeeeee grin-

oh yes i have to talk about this incident. the module im taking, hs103, is about social problems in global context. anyway we have to log on to this h20 system where we will discuss whatever topics our prof decide to put. -ahem- and one such topic was about "what is social problem". we are supposed to comment and then read about others and then comment on what they have commented. it's a MUST. so i read one of the lady's and doesnt agree with something. that somethng was she said that "..... environmental problems will be social problems too..." and i said a big fat NO. and i added that environmental problems will still be labelled as environmental problems 10 years down the road.

why do i say that?
cuz you see. environmental problems for example, air/water pollution is something that kills the environment. it is a problem regarding our environment. it's true that social problems like littering, ignorance, negligence or such LEADS to these problems. the key word is LEAD. which means, social problems leads to environmental problems. it's a cause and effect relationship. the social problem is the "action" while the env problem is the "REaction". i hope those guys get it. URGH!

so thats the problem with this module im taking. i see narrow minded people making claims about certain issues. once a question asked "whats science?" and someone actually said "..... when u mention science, you will think of boring men in white robes in a lab doing experiments.." i say bullcrap! i never think of men in white robes? theres so many sub-branches of science. chemical sciences, biological sciences, physical sciences, mathematical sciences etc etc... you say "white robe" and "lab" --->bio/chem science only leh mam! people who does sciences doesnt necessary have to stay in lab. YES they have to do experiments but not all experiments need to wear white robes. forgoddsake watch lesser tv pleasE! see what tv has done to your brains.

now i cant wait to listen to discussions about cultural revolution or shit like that. it will be even more hilarious if they ever get the facts wrong. im gonna LAUGH OUT LOUD.
